Canyon Country Community Center To Host ‘Line Dance Night’

Santa Clarita officials have invited residents to participate in “Line Dance Night” — a free event being held at the Canyon Country Community Center on April 21.

“Dust off your dancing boots and learn the Electric Slide, Cowboy Charleston and more at the Canyon Country Community Center,” said the event news release. “This is the perfect opportunity for parents to enjoy bonding time and a night out dancing with their teens.”

Residents 13 years or older are invited to participate in the western-themed event, and event organizers have stated that instructional lessons will be given for those with little to no line dancing experience.

“Line Dance Night will start with a professional lesson covering the basics of this easy to pick-up style,” said the news release. “Following the first hour of instruction, the night will continue with an hour of social dancing to show off your new moves.”

The event is scheduled take place from 7-9 p.m. on April 21 in the Canyon Country Community Center, located at 18792 Flying Tiger Drive.
