County To Host ‘Goin’ Country At Hart’ Event To Support The Friends Of Hart Park

The Los Angeles County Department of Parks and Recreation will host a counry themed event at Hart Park in October to raise funds for the Friends of Hart Park.

The event, “Goin’ Country at Hart,” is the latest to be announced in the department’s “Recreation After Dark” event series.  

Country band “Magnolia Drawl” will be performing throughout the night, with line dancing instruction available on the dancefloors. One dance floor will be reserved for line dancing while the other will be free to open dancing.

Additional music can be requested through Al ERwing, the DJ for the evening.

A cash bar provided by Wolf Creek Restaurant and Brewing Co., food trucks and crafts from local vendors will also be available.

The event is scheduled to take place on Friday, Oct. 12 from 7 to 10 p.m. at William S. Hart Regional Park, 24151 Newhall Ave. A $5 suggested donation at the door will benefit the Friends of Hart Park.
