For the 25th year in a row, Santa Clarita residents gathered together to support research and awareness regarding childhood cancer through the Michael Hoefflin Foundation.

“The Michael Hoefflin Foundation is grateful for our very generous community,” said Gillian Stone, executive director. “Since our inception, we have served over 600 families with financial support and delivered over 1500 ‘Kare Kits’ filled with helpful items for an unexpected hospital visit.”

Set underneath the night sky at the Valencia Country Club, the event featured dinner, drinks and both live and silent auctions, as well as live entertainment by Kenny Cetera’s Chicago Experience “that was enjoyed by all,” according to Stone.

In addition to the dinner and entertainment, those in attendance also had the chance to participate in a raffle drawing and win a $5,000 Princess Cruises vacation package.

This year’s winner for the raffle grand prize was won by “a very generous donor who would like to stay anonymous,” according to Stone.

The 2018 event raised over $400,000 for the foundation, according to event organizers.
