Fire officials received multiple calls of water bubbling up onto Valencia streets Friday evening, prompting a swift response from both firefighters and SCV Water crews.

The bubbling water was caused by a broken water main, tripping multiple alarms along Center Pointe Parkway, Ruether Avenue, and Carl Boyer Drive.
Firefighters began responding to these alarms at 3:06 p.m. Friday, where they were joined by officials from SCV Water to stop the overflowing water.
Officials were able to stop the water from flowing out onto the streets within 20 minutes, according to officials with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
KHTS reached out to SCV Water Saturday in order to find out further details on the water break, but was unable to contact officials as their offices are closed on the weekends.
