The school’s charter status was granted by a unanimous vote of the Acton-Agua Dulce Unified School District governing board.

Students at the new school will experience project-based learning promoting social, emotional and deeper learning.

The curriculum is designed to help students develop critical thinking, problem-solving and entrepreneurial skills officials believe are necessary to succeed.

Both site-based learning and independent study will be offered, accommodating to every family’s unique needs.

“We’re grateful to the governing board for recognizing the value of our specialized curriculum and incredible learning environment,” said Amer Kuric, CEO of iLEAD Schools. “iLEAD believes each child should be equipped with the skills and knowledge to achieve his or her fullest potential, and we look forward to serving children and families across the Agua Dulce community.”

An information night for families interested in enrolling their children at iLEAD Agua Dulce is set to take place Thursday, July 12 at 6 p.m. at 11311 Frascati Street to help families learn more about the school and the iLEAD educational model.
