Lambourne began her political career with former U.S. Congressman Buck McKeon, serving as his chief assistant in the district office.
When her colleague Scott Wilk won the 2012 campaign for the 38th district in the California House, Lambourne joined him as his district director, working with constituents while the Assemblyman was in Sacramento.
“We’ve lost a great person and a great friend,” Kathy Kellar said. “I was neighbors with Linda for almost 12 years, I feel for her children and grandchildren.”
She was also a member of the Parents’ Advisory Committee at Canyon High School.
Lambourne died after a battle with ALS.
