The fire first reported a 12:13 p.m., near the corner of Copper Hill Drive and Gold Canyon Drive, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Southern California Edison estimates power to be reported by 2:30 p.m., according to the outage center website.

“We had two power outages both at the same time, and were both caused by underground electrical equipment, at Copper Hill Drive, and Gold Canyon Road,” said Mary Ann Milbourn, spokesperson with Southern California Edison.

The first outage started at 12:11 p.m. where 2,110 customers and within 30 seconds only 1,711 customers are without power.

The current boundaries are north Discovery Ridge Drive south Copper Hill Drive, east Paragon Drive and west San Francisquito Canyon Road as of 2 p.m., said Milbourn.

The second was reported at the same time with 2,097 customers without power, according to SoCal Edison officials.

The current boundaries for the second incident are north Discovery Ridge Drive, south Conway Place, east Cedar Canyon Street and west Touchstone Place.

Residents are also reporting the signal is out at Copper Hill Drive and Seco Canyon Road.

“As of 1:44 p.m. we don’t have power restored to all customers but some do have power back,” said Milbourn.
We do not have estimated time for when power will be restored, she concluded.
