Every week, Presto Pasta Valencia is giving Santa Clarita residents the chance to have a free catered lunch delivered to their workplace through a unique contest called “Pasta Patrol.”

To enter, all residents have to do is tell Presto Pasta staff why their workplace deserves a free catered lunch in 100 words or less by emailing PastaPatrol@PrestoPasta.com.

When asked why he decided to introduce the program, General Manager Greg Morin replied, “Just to get the word out. We feel like, once they have it, then we got them. Then they’ll come in to the restaurant, because it’s really good.”

While Pasta Patrol has been offered at other Presto Pasta locations, it is currently only available through the Valencia location, according to Morin.

To be eligible to win the weekly contest, the workplace must have a maximum of 15 employees and be located less than 15 miles from Presto Pasta in Valencia.

Since opening on Magic Mountain Parkway in February, Presto Pasta has also provided free catering to Santa Clarita Valley schools for “Teacher Appreciation Week,” and the positive response from the community helped prompt the creation of Pasta Patrol.

“All our food is fresh — we make everything here,” Morin said. “Nothing is pulled out of the freezer and put in the fryer… Nothing is opened out of a can and heated up.”

“Everything is homemade and tasty,” added Manager Leandra Bias. “Pasta and sauce are made fresh every day … (and) we’re quick — it doesn’t take us very long.”

In addition to fresh, great-tasting Italian food, Morin noted that staff members also strive to create a family-friendly atmosphere with quality customer service.

“That’s something that we really stress is customer service,” he said. “(It’s) really good food and a really good price point.”
