‘Rotary Pint Night’ Event To Feature Car Show, Food, Beer

“Rotary Pint Night” is set to take place Tuesday, and is expected to feature a car show, raffle and more.

The event is scheduled to take place from 4-9 p.m., according to officials.

Santa Clarita residents who plan on attending the Rotary Pint Night can expect to experience a live band, beer, two food trucks, a car show and a raffle.

The car show is expected to start around 6 p.m., and those in attendance will be able to vote for their favorite car to win “The Best Car” award. The results are expected to be given around 8 p.m.

The Rotary Club was able to raise approximately $2,000 worth of donation items that are set to be raffled off to Santa Clarita residents, according to officials.

Prizes that are up for grabs include a two-night stay in a beach bungalow in Ventura, as well as a number of gift cards for local businesses and restaurants throughout Santa Clarita.

The Rotary Pint Night is being put together in a partnership with the SCV Rotary Club and the Sunshine Rotary Club.

The free event is kid friendly, and is scheduled for Tuesday Aug. 21 at Wolf Creek Brewery, located at 25108 Rye Canyon Loop in Valencia.

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
