Falliaux, a Saugus High School graduate, has been seen around the Santa Clarita Valley volunteering at several different community events, donating her time to help residents in the community.

The most recent event where Falliaux was spotted was the Thanksgiving dinner in Val Verde, where she was painting the faces of children in attendance.

Volunteering in community events and working with people of all ages has motivated Falliaux to write her book in hopes that people can walk in peace amongst a hectic world.

“In a world that is fast paced with distractions at every corner, it is easy to fall into the chaos of life,” said Falliaux.  “‘My Daily Vows’ is a clean living diet for the mind and soul that shows readers how to remove the excess and live authentically day by day in my 31-day devotional.”

“My Daily Vows” is a four-step devotional that uses the books of Proverbs and Psalms, which is set to provide readers with wisdom, love, deliverance of the mind, unity of the body and independence from the surplus of daily impressions, according to Falliaux.

In “My Daily Vows,” Falliaux combines knowledge with love through the four R’s: read, receive, reconcile and react.

“With help of biblical passages, and real-life application to the word, the four R’s are designed to create a step stool that takes you higher, cleaner and more confident in the you that you were designed to be,” said Falliaux.

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
