Mobile Virtual Network Operators are wireless communication service providers offering mobile phone services to customers by leveraging existing network infrastructure. The World Congress is a global meeting where innovators and mobile connectivity distributors discuss how the market is shifting and what new technologies are emerging.

Fares was selected as a speaker to share his views on what consumers need in the new digitalized era at the April 25 panel.

Celitech is based in the city’s Business Incubator and works towards improving the way mobile phones connect to cellular networks, by developing the world’s first digital MVNO. They are currently working towards providing international travellers access to 4G connectivity through an application.

The company gained the widespread attention of investors, industry leaders and potential customers in February, after being one of 134 companies selected from across 80 countries to participate in the Startup Exhibition portion of Google Startup Grind’s Global Conference.

The Santa Clarita Business Incubator was created in partnership with the city, College of the Canyons and the Small Business Development Center. It was created to work with technology focused entrepreneurs, providing them training, mentoring and networking opportunities, while also finding them low cost office space.
