“As America’s donut leader, we put our passion and creativity towards finding fun and unexpected ways to please and surprise donut fans,” said Tony Weisman, Dunkin’ Donuts’ chief marketing officer. “There was a strong consumer response towards bringing Donut Fries to all Americans during the initial test, and we are excited to make this unique donut treat available nationwide this summer.”

The Santa Clarita Dunkin’ Donuts is one of five locations throughout Los Angeles County where free donut fries will be handed out to the first 100 guests. 25 locations throughout the U.S. are taking part in the promotion.

Dunkin’ Donuts at 26441 Bouquet Canyon Road will give a free order of their new item from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on July 13.

“We’re also going to be sampling our drinks and other stuff for people to try,” said Katherine Parrotto, Dunkin’ Donuts’ area manager.

On Friday, guests will receive a full order of five buttery croissant-style donuts, tossed in cinnamon sugar and served warm.

Guests who participate in the celebratory event will also be able to enjoy the donut fries in a special limited edition fry box and have the opportunity to take fun pictures with the official donut fries cut-out, according to Parrotto.

Those who are not able to participate can purchase an order for $2 from now until August.
