Santa Clarita Valley Valentine’s Day isn’t complete without saying “I love you” with the help of The Barbershop quartet, according to officials.

The Barbershop Quartet is now opened to receive request to have the quartet come to either your sweetheart’s house or work, according to officials.
“This is our 20th year of going around the Santa Clarita Valley singing to people for Valentine’s Day,” said Dave Norman, board member with the Barbershop Chorus.
We will show up and surprise whoever you want, and sing them two love songs and give them a rose, Norman said.
“The men are probably the most fun to surprise, because something like that is something they would never expect,” Norman continued. “Sometimes it could be hard for us to continue singing, because when people start getting teary-eyed, sometimes we end up getting emotional as well.”
The event only cost $50, however, if you need the quartet to show up at a very specific time we do charge an additional $10 to make sure we arrive promptly, Norman said.
The Barbershop Quartet doesn’t only perform on Valentine’s Day, according to officials.
“We do perform year round with a main event that happens during the summer,” the board member said. “We perform at a lot of different private events around the Santa Clarita Valley.”
