Sheriff’s Searching For ‘At-Risk’ Missing Person With PTSD

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau, Missing Person Unit Detectives are asking for the public’s assistance in locating man last seen in Valencia Monday.

John Robert Mazur, 48, was last seen on the 28000 block of Braddon Oak Drive, Valencia on Monday, Oct. 1 at about 1:00 a.m., according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

Mazur is described as 6’03”, 250 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes, officials said.

“His family and friends are very concerned for his well-being because he suffers from PTSD and is on dialysis,” said Sheriff’s officials.

Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide Bureau Missing Person Unit Sgt. Nava or Detective Abraham at (323) 890-5500.
