The two Child & Family Center events are scheduled to take place in October of this year.

On October 6, the second annual Trike Derby is scheduled to take place at Wolf Creek Brewery. Companies can sign up to participate in relay races on adult-sized tricycles and attempt to dethrone the current champions, Valencia BMW, according to officials.

After the completion of the race, a blue’s festival featuring Kelly’s Lot is set to take place, according to Child & Family Center officials.

Two weeks later, the 15th annual Kid Expo is set to take place on October 21 at Golden Valley High School from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“Kid Expo is the largest kid-focused event in Santa Clarita with thousands of local residents in attendance,” read a statement from the Child & Family Center.

Admission is set to be free for everyone, according to event officials. The money raised at the expo is set to go directly to Child & Family Center, which provides mental health & behavioral services to over 700 children each week, according to Child & Family Center officials.
