Emergency officials responded to a report of an unconscious child at a Castaic gas station Monday morning.

Los Angeles County Fire Department paramedics received a call of an unconscious patient at the Pilot Gas Station in Castaic around 9:50 a.m.
Initial reports indicated that the patient was a 21-month-old female.
“When units arrived on scene, firefighters requested a helicopter to transport the patient,” said Marvin Lim, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
Officials from Fire Station 143 confirmed that the patient suffered minor injuries, and was in stable condition Monday afternoon.
The exact cause of the child’s injuries was not released.
