Precision Dynamic Corporation (PDC) hosted the 8th annual Brady Walk for Community charity event Thursday, with the proceeds set to go to the Michael Hoefflin Foundation and Speak Out Against Bullying.

PDC, a global leader of innovative identification solutions, hosted the 8th annual Brady Walk for Community on June 28, 2018 at its Valencia, California location.

The Brady Walk for Community is a yearly employee charity event held by the Brady Corporation, PDC’s parent company, which raises money for charities and gathers food donations for local food banks.

PDC employees walked up to five laps to raise money, and Brady Corporation donated ten dollars per lap walked. All monetary donations are set to be equally split among two local, non-profit organizations: Michael Hoefflin Foundation and Speak Out Against Bullying. A food drive is also set to be held to benefit the Santa Clarita Valley Food Pantry. More than 130 employees are expected to participate in the charity event.

“Through the Brady Walk for Community, PDC wants to support the Michael Hoefflin Foundation, Speak Out Against Bullying, and SCV Food Pantry so they can continue the amazing work they do to bring hope and help to families,” said Scott Vuchetich, President of PDC. “We’re proud of being a part of the Brady Corporation, which is committed to giving back to the communities where its businesses operate.”

Local businesses joined in with additional sponsorship support for the event, including Walmart, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Rattler’s, Stonefire, In N’ Out, Chick-Fil-A, Old Town Newhall Ice, J&Y Silkscreen Inc., and FedEx Office.
