camerongloverwbadgeFundraisers around the city have collected thousands of dollars for Deputy Cameron Glover’s family. Glover, a patrol deputy assigned to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s station, was killed in an off-duty traffic accident April 28.

On Sunday, all seven Ralphs locations in Santa Clarita sold root beer floats to benefit Glover’s family. The two-hour event raised a total of $4,229.

A BBQ held on Thursday, May 13 at the SCV Sheriff’s station for the station’s personnel and Glover’s family raised $3,200 with an additional $1,200 for a baby shower gift.

The Bank of Santa Clarita has opened a fund in Glover’s name and so far has more than $32,000. Donations are still being accepted at all Santa Clarita Ralphs locations and at the Sheriff’s station.

Deputy Glover is survived by his wife Jennifer and their unborn son, Landon.
