Computers Seized From Local Mechanic

khts_crimeThe Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Victims Bureau seized computers from Brian Clark, proprietor of Engine Dynamics in Newhall, during execution of a search warrant this morning. The computers allegedly contained child pornography.

According to detectives from the SVB, the warrant was obtained after an informant said there was child pornography on the computers. The tip came in about a month ago, giving detectives time to collect more than enough probable cause to get the warrant and seize the hardware.

Clark was not arrested during the warrant search. Detectives said that if the computers, which are being examined by the bureau’s High Tech division, are found to have images of child pornography, the case will move to the next level.
