Concert performance to feature composer Craig Taubman
Congregation Beth Shalom will host recording artist and composer of Jewish music Craig Taubman on November 14 for an intimate performance at a private home in Valencia. The performance is part of the popular Distinguished Speaker/Performance Series, which has also featured Doug Cotler, Bill Handel, Dennis Prager, Norman Krieger, Dr. Judea Pearl, and Leonard Nimoy.
Guests will enjoy a wine and cheese reception from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m., and later have an opportunity to meet Taubman and receive an autographed CD. The concert is intended for adults only and seating is limited. Tickets are available for $98 for CBS congregants, and $108 for the general public.
For more than 22 years, Taubman’s music has bridged traditional Jewish themes and ancient teachings with contemporary Jewish life. His songs have been featured in films and on television and his live concerts have sold out venues such as the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles. He has also given three special performances at the White House.
