L.A. Zoo Lights is a not-to-be-missed nighttime holiday light experience that debuted last year. This year’s event promises to be bigger, better, and even brighter, with more sights and delights of the season.
- Take a self-guided 60- to 90-minute tour of an expanded area of the Zoo featuring all-new animal-themed LED lights, lasers, 3D projections, and musical water-and-light display
- Capture your holiday memories in a photo with Santa Claus in glittering new snow-covered setting on select dates
- Get a glimpse of real reindeer
- Warm up with hot cocoa and other holiday treats
- Become part of the show with glowing merchandise available for purchase
- And, enjoy free parking!
This is a rain-or-shine event. No rain checks will be issued.
Mischievous glowing monkeys have reimagined the Zoo’s holiday displays according to their own whimsy, and beckon visitors on a tour that includes visits with a giant origami rhino, singing elephants, and a giant glowing snake coiled atop The L.A.I.R., among other fantastical creatures. Journey through this glittering landscape featuring light tunnels and overhead projections toward the final destination—a bustling Hollywood scene where animal friends appear on a red carpet.
