County Libraries Now Boast Free WiFi

Two internet ready locations in Santa Clarita

[view:node_ad=5]The Los Angeles County Library now provides free wireless internet to patrons with laptop computers to retrieve e-mail, perform research, or surf the web without being connected to network cables, announced Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich

 

“WiFi technology will allow our County libraries to continue their mission of providing information, quality services and programs by allowing easier and quicker access to the internet,” said Supervisor Antonovich. 

WiFi internet access is available at the following 5th District Libraries in Santa Clarita:

 

Valencia Library, at 23743 W. Valencia Blvd, (661) 259-8942.

Canyon Country Jo Anne Darcy Library at 18601 Soledad Canyon Rd, (661) 251-2720.

 

To use WiFi at the library, simply launch your web browser. Your computer's home page will appear and you may begin surfing immediately.  Users will need a WiFi-compliant 802.11b wireless Ethernet device installed in their laptop or a have laptop with built-in WiFi capability.
