County Library Makes Efforts To Serve West Ranch Communities

logosmallThe County of Los Angeles Public Library is holding a “needs assessment” workshop from 6:30-8:00 p.m. on June 7 at Stevenson Ranch Elementary School to hear from the community regarding library services for the West Ranch communities.  “Vision 91381” is seeking ways to improve library services for Sunset Pointe, Stevenson Ranch, Southern Oaks, and Westridge.

The county library has already made efforts to reach out to communities by preparing the Stevenson Ranch Express Library scheduled to open June 1.  Located at the Dr. Richard H. Rioux Memorial Park, the express library will be open for limited hours and have holds pickup, books return, and a small browsing collection of books, DVDs, music, and audio books.  For the library’s hours and location, click here.
