County Officials Raise Awareness For Human Trafficking

ImageLos Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich joined Los Angeles County District Attorney Steve Cooley, Los Angeles County Sheriff Lee Baca, Paul Nissan, Executive Director, of the “National Human Trafficking Awareness Day,” and a broad coalition of local leaders, law enforcement, faith-based groups and community organizations to raise public awareness and expand efforts to combat human trafficking.

 

 

On Tuesday, the Board of Supervisors unanimously approved Supervisor Antonovich’s motion proclaiming January 11, 2007 as “Human Trafficking Awareness Day” in Los Angeles County .
