Cowboy Festival Tickets To Go On Sale January 4

sonsandbrothersTickets for the 17th annual Santa Clarita Cowboy Festival go on sale January 4, 2010. The festival will once again be held at the Melody Ranch Motion Picture Studio and other venues from April 22-25.

Festival brochures with complete event information will be mailed out the last week of December; sign up for the mailing list ahead of time at cowboyfestival.org

On April 22, we’re offering a bus trip to the Autry National Center in Los Angeles with private tours, lunch, a screening of a Gene Autry film, and a tour of Gene’s private film vault. That night The Chuckwagon Dinner show featuring Joe Herrington and The Sons and Brothers (pictured above) will take place at Heritage Junction at William S. Hart Park.

Friday, April 23, you can travel back in time by spending the afternoon at Rancho Camulos for lunch and an intimate show with Don Edwards, attend a film talk about John Wayne’s final film, The Shootist, presented by screenwriter, Miles Swarthout or catch Dave Stamey in concert at Hart Mansion. Also on Friday night, a ticket to Melody Ranch Movie Night will allow you to shuttle out to Melody Ranch, enjoy a catered dinner on Main St. and a showing under the stars of High Noon. Saturday night, Hart Mansion will feature a performance by Wyatt Earp descendants in the play, Mr. and Mrs. Wyatt Earp.
