The City of Santa Clarita is looking for teens and adults age 16 years and older to volunteer at the 2011 Cowboy Festival, , taking place at various locations across the City from Wednesday, April 27, through Sunday, May 1.
Those interested in volunteering for a variety of positions available must attend a mandatory Volunteer Round-Up at 7 p.m. Monday March 21 at the Santa Clarita Activities Center.
“The Cowboy Festival is one of Santa Clarita’s premier events and a great opportunity for volunteers to learn new skills as well as give back to the community,” commented Mayor Marsha McLean. “In addition to receiving free admission to the weekend festival, volunteers will also enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the award-winning event and Melody Ranch Motion Picture Studio.”
