Crews Put Out Brush Fire Near Santa Clarita Studios

Around 11:00 a.m. Monday a brush fire burned about 1 acre of the hillside behind Anza Drive in Valencia.
Firefighters reported that the fire was held by ground units to one acre of light grass on the hill behind Santa Clarita Studios near the Valencia Industrial Center. The fire was out by 12:00 p.m.

At the time of the fire, the winds were blowing out of the south/southwest at 3 MPH.

No major roads were closed during the incident, however the flames were visible from the I-5 freeway near Magic Mountain Parkway.
