Frederick Jay Bowdy, 34, of Canyon Country, killed himself Monday. Medical examiners revealed the cause of death as a single gunshot wound they believe was self-inflicted.
Facebook officials have since taken down the video.
Bowdy was arrested Thursday, Jan. 19 due to an allegation of rape and domestic violence. The charges were being investigated by the Special Victims Unit of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
His body was found by officials in a car in North Hollywood on Cumpston Street, according to medical examiners.
He had nine acting credits, according to IMDB, and was working on a movie at the time of his death.
Bowdy is the third SCV resident to kill himself this year, although the suicide did not occur in the Santa Clarita Valley.
The other two incidents involved self-inflicted gunshot wounds.
