All American Bail Bonds in Santa Clarita not only offers bail bond services, they also offer Live Scan services.

After the client’s personal information is entered and fingerprints are submitted digitally, the data is sent to the requested agency. The client should be provided with an applicant transaction identifier, or ATI number after the session.

“The ATI number is automatically generated by the Live Scan device,” said Inessa Chavez, vice president of All American Bail Bonds in Santa Clarita. “However, it does not necessarily mean the fingerprint images and personal information was submitted to the requested agency.”

If the requested agency has not received results and the fingerprints were submitted electronically, the Department of Justice can be contacted to check the submission.

The Department of Justice has a 24-hour automated number at (916) 227-4557. The client will need to have the following information:

  • A copy of the Request for Live Scan form that was given to the client after the Live Scan session.
  • The ATI number that was written by the Live Scan operator on the above form.
  • Date of birth.

The automated number will say what dates the Live Scan was sent on, listen to the entire message if the client’s scan included FBI.

The dates can then be given to the requested agency for follow up.

If the message says that it is still in process, call at a later date. The message will only give dates, it will not say any results.

“Many people think that a Live Scan is universal, however that is not necessarily the case,” said Inessa Chavez, vice president of All American Bail Bonds in Santa Clarita. “Each Live Scan is only good for the requested agency. It is illegal for agencies to share that information.”

“We want to ensure the Live Scan process is quick and easy for our clients at All American Bail Bonds of Santa Clarita,” said Chavez.
