The report was initially made just before 1 p.m. according to Lt. Andy Dahring. The threat was reported about the Mimi’s Cafe on Magic Mountain Parkway, in the heart of Valencia.

“There was a threat of a bomb,” Dahring said. “It’s all done now.”

Patrons and employees of the restaurant were evacuated as deputies investigated the incident but were later let back inside, according to witnesses on scene.

No arrests were made in connection with the threat and deputies are still investigating.

  1. What about 3 bomb threats made to Mimi’s Cafe this week. This is the 4th bomb threat to Mimi’s this week.

  2. Funny. I called the Sherriffs desk at 3pm and asked if it was okay to visit Mimis and was told ” I wouldn’t suggest it”. Four threats…two evacuations… Five written notes to local stores and hardly a whisper about it.

  3. We were there today on our way home from a weekend at Disney. Sheriffs were very calm and easy and had staff alert everyone that we had to leave the cafe. Famished, we headed to Coco’s this finally eat and head home to the Bay Area.
