A Castaic man was arrested Sunday in connection with the vandalism of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

On Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 10:48 P.M., an unknown male adult suspect vandalized the exterior front walls of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station with red paint, said Shirley Miller, spokesperson.
“The incident was captured on the station’s video surveillance system,” said Miller. “Within hours of the act of vandalism being committed, SCV Sheriff’s Detective Michelle O’Brien was able to identify the suspect.”
On Sunday morning, April 29, 2018, deputies arrested Castaic resident Sean Jamadar, 26, on felony vandalism charges at his home. Detectives obtained a search warrant and served it at suspect Jamadar’s residence.
Evidence used during the commission of the crime was recovered at the location. Jamadar was transported and booked at Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.

Yes, Ken- I can even remember when respect was mutual.
Has anyone bothered to follow-up on the information in the paint? Somebody’s selling drugs and killing people. The tagger certainly wanted to get that on the record.
Nobody deserves unquestioned loyalty, especially public servants.

Something is seriously wrong when our own sheriff station has been vandalized. How can we expect them to protect our city and who/what we love, if they can’t even protect their own station?
