“Initially, the call was that an individual allegedly was seen with a handgun,” said Deputy Kevin Duxbury of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
Keith Farmer, 33, was arrested after witnesses reported a man brandished a handgun after a fight on the 31600 block of Castaic Road, according to Sheriff’s Department records.
Farmer reportedly fought with a customer, then left to retrieve a weapon from his car, according to a Sheriff’s Department report.
Witnesses reported to deputies that after Farmer lost the fight, he went to retrieve the weapon, then left the bar.
Witnesses then reported Farmer’s license plates to deputies, who arrested Farmer on a charge of brandishing a firearm.
He was taken into custody at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, and released in lieu of $35,000 bail Friday morning.
The investigation is ongoing, Duxbury said, and no other information could be released at this time.

Why do you never report the name of the businesses instead of “a business in the 31600 block of Castaic Road” (or whatever)?
We’d like to know exactly WHERE these problems are happening. Sometimes it reflects on the business itself, sometimes not. Let your readers decide. Give us the information so we can.
