Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are investigating a stabbing victim who was found “in the open,” according to fire officials.

Preliminary information suggests a dead body was dumped at the location where it was found, according to Sheriff’s Station officials, who received the initial call. The victim was described as a male, black adult, according to Sheriff’s Department officials.

There was no disturbance or fight associated with the call, officials said. Deputies arrived on scene and immediately called medical personnel when the body was discovered. The emergency responders quickly determined the person was deceased.

Detectives were called to Ridge Route Road in Castaic to investigate the circumstances surrounding the stabbing death.

Fire officials dispatched to Ridge Route Road around 1:29 p.m. regarding a medical rescue with a patient in “full arrest,” according to fire officials, meaning the person who reported the incident to fire officials was not sure if the person is still breathing.

The body was found near the side of the road, off Ridge Route Road, about one mile south of Templin Highway.

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

There is no further information at this time, and the investigation is ongoing.

  1. Wow. “The body immediately called medical personnel.” Sounds like something out of The Walking Dead.

  2. No offense but an 8th grader could’ve wrote a better article…. The information is all over the place, no clear timeline of events. Can we get better articles, please ????

  3. Ok you two idiots can stop the arguing over the grammar and choice of words. Someone’s family is missing a member of it right now.

How many time’s do these criminals get to drop the dead off up there before the SCSD blocks the entrance??

  4. That is right Elizabeth Chrislett. I can’t stand when people nag over the dumbest things and screw things up themselves. Good for you.Xoxo
