Medical examiners have yet to determine whether Julie Crane, 57, of Santa Clarita, died of natural causes or a possible suicide.

Crane was found in her car not far from Babies ‘R’ Us in the Golden Valley area. Witnesses reported the car had been there for a few days, and officials reported she appeared to be living in the car.

Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies were flagged down in the parking lot by witnesses who reported they thought someone might have been unresponsive in the car.

Around 10 a.m. Tuesday, deputies approached the white SUV hatchback and were unable to rouse the vehicle’s occupant.

A deputy broke into the car by breaking a window in order to check on the status of the person, who was determined to be deceased.

A homicide detective noted there did not appear to be any signs of foul play, and the death was not being investigated as a homicide.

  1. Please tell me why the car was there “several” days with out SOMEONE calling it in?
    SEE SOMETHING SAY SOMETHING !
Maybe if someone had called it in earlier her life might have been saved?

May God rest her soul and her family that lost her!!
