Rene Tenas, 39, of Canyon Country pleaded no contest on Oct. 2 to two felony counts of lewd act upon a child, according to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
After the case was investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department, it was found that on or between Aug. 1, 2016 and Jan. 31, 2017, Tenas inappropriately touched the 9 and 10-year-old victims at Hart Street Elementary School, said David Nary, deputy district attorney.
During the sentencing, Tenas was also ordered to register as a sex offender for the rest of his life, said Nary.
