Two murder suspects in Santa Clarita Valley cases were in court Thursday, officials said.

Bradford Pate, 39, of Burbank, is due back in court in April for a pretrial hearing on two counts of murder; two counts of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated; one count of DUI causing injury, with a prior conviction; and DUI with a blood-alcohol level more than .08 percent, according to court records.
Jessica Greenback, 25, of Canyon Country, is charged with fatally shooting her brother Johnnie Greenback at their home in the 18000 block of Danielson Street around 5:30 a.m. on Feb. 8.
He had a pretrial hearing Thursday, and officials did not know when the court was set to go to trial.
Pate is being charged with killing the Rev. Manard Giles, and Mattie Lee Ferguson in a wrong-way crash on Highway 14 in the early morning hours June 22, 2013.
He was held to answer to the charges last February.
Greenback has yet to have a preliminary hearing, which is when a judge weighs the evidence against a suspect and decides if there’s enough to merit a trial.
She’s due back in court March 26, and being held in lieu of more than $6.1 million.
