A restitution hearing is scheduled for March 27.

The collision took place on Copperhill Drive approximately 3:55 p.m. on Feb. 14, 2014, involving Zimmerman, who was driving a black Honda Civic, and Corral, who had his daughter in the car with him at the time of the crash in a white Ford Fusion.

Preliminary information indicates the Ford traveling eastbound Copperhill Drive collided with the Civic, which was exiting Copperstone Drive, according to a statement from Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station officials.

Zimmerman was treated at the scene by personnel from the Los Angeles County Fire Department, and he later died at a local area hospital.

Fire officials administered oxygen to the driver of the Civic, and then when they got him out, administered CPR to him, according to a witness on scene.

  1. This man killed someone and only gets 10 years. This is a second DUI for this person. The system and judges suck. This man should be put in prison forever and used as a organ donor. Maybe he will not be able to live with what he has done and will take himself out of this world.

  2. This guy does 4 years on a ten year sentence. Gets out and already has a Jaguar XF and a drop top Camaro. What’s this guy doing ? Cause it seem like he’s BALLIN
