A Santa Clarita man and a Sylmar man pleaded not guilty to obscenity charges in court on Friday, Aug 28.

Shahram Hosseinian, 32, of Valencia, pleaded not guilty to two counts of sending or bringing obscene matter into the state for sale and possession of child or youth pornography, said Ricardo Santiago, spokesman with the Los Angeles County District Attorney.
Hosseinian was arrested by the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Victims Bureau in the Santa Clarita Valley on Friday, July 31, according to arrest records.
Elias Rojas-Dias, 45, of Sylmar, pleaded not guilty to two counts of possession of matter depicting minor engaging in sexual conduct, or child pornography, Santiago said.
Rojas-Dias was also arrested on Friday, July 31, according to arrest records.
Hosseinian is due back in court for a preliminary setting on Oct. 22, 2015 and Rojas-Diaz is due back in court for a preliminary setting as well on Oct. 6, 2015.
