After being arrested on June 6 of this year, Shane Michael Falsey, 29, appeared in court Tuesday a pretrial conference regarding a single misdemeanor count of annoying telephone calls, according the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office.

At the arraignment, Falsey entered a plea of not guilty and is due back at the Santa Clarita Courthouse for a pretrial continuation next month.

Prosecutors previously declined to charge Falsely with a crime due to “lack of evidence,” according to the D.A.’s Office.

However, after an investigation was conducted by law enforcement over the course of the past few months, Falsey was eventually served a warrant and arrested in June of this year.

This is not the first time Falsey has been arrested for alleged crimes committed in Santa Clarita.

On June 14, 2007, Falsey was arrested as an adult on charges that he raped a then 14-year-old girl. Months later, Falsey entered a plea of no contest to the charge of statutory rape, but he was not required to register for the sex offender database.

Then on February 26, 2017, he was once again arrested, but this time on one count of corporal injury to a spouse. Falsey allegedly “choked and strangled” his girlfriend, slammed her face into the floor and left her with a “bloody nose, redness of her neck and bloody lip,” according to court documents obtained by KHTS.

Falsey once again entered a no contest plea, and was ordered to serve 30 days in jail, probation and mandatory Domestic Violence Program classes.

Between 2012 and 2018, Falsey reportedly made contact with dozens of Santa Clarita women across multiple social media platforms, allegedly sending unsolicited sexually explicit messages and pictures. Messages also reportedly included language denoting misogyny, body-shaming and racial epithets.

Falsey is set to return to court on Jan. 11, 2019.
