Valencia Man Pleads No Contest For Child Pornography Charges, Sentenced To Two Days In Jail

A 32-year-old Valencia man was sentenced on Monday after pleading no contest to one felony count of possession of child pornography.

Shahram Hosseinian was immediately sentenced to two days in county jail, placed on probation for five years and was ordered to complete 30 days of community service, said Jane Robison with the Los Angeles County District Attorney.

Hosseinian, along with Elias Rojas-Dias, 45, of Sylmar, were arrested on July 31, 2015 on suspicion of sending or possessing obscene material, according to arrest records.

Rojas-Dias plead no contest on Sept. 1, 2015 to two counts of possession of matter depicting minor engaging in sexual conduct, or child pornography, said Ricardo Santiago, spokesman with the L.A. County District Attorney.

Rojas-Dias is due back in court on Monday, Dec. 7 for a preliminary hearing.

  1. TWO DAYS! Now that will surely deter pedophile, won’t it? If he actually molested a child would they give him a whole week in jail?

    • No kidding, what a joke! Well, in about 20 years, it will just be “the norm” to do stuff like this. It will get crammed down our throats like everything else does.

  2. Maybe as part of his community service he should be ordered to babysit the children of this judge. Obviously the judge doesn’t see him as any sort of real threat so, why not?!?! I only wish that the judge’s name had been included in the piece so we can be better informed citizens when voting for our judges next cycle.

  3. Not condoning his acts but am worried about censorship of e-mail. To be punished for expressing your thoughts and desires by e-mail, phone or in person in the privacy of your home? Sounds a little like Huxley’s Brave new World.
