The stabbing reportedly took place around 3 p.m. around the 18900 block of Nearbrook Street.

A group of people were hanging out at a house in the backyard when a man ran onto the property, stabbed the victim several times, and then fled on foot, according to a witness who identified himself as Ted and asked KHTS to not publish his last name.

The victim was stabbed numerous times in the hands, back and torso, according to a witness.

The motive of the stabbing was unclear, and the suspect, who was apparently covering his face with a bandanna, was not immediately known to the friends of the victim at the scene.

Taylor Alameda contributed to this report.

  1. I would love to have a better description of the perpetrator since that is so close to my house. Any details on height, weight or apparel aside from a bandana covered face?
