  2. You reference a Twitter handle of @KHTSAM1220 but that account doesn’t exist. Do you mean @KHTSRadio ? If so, you might want to update your Twitter column on the right side of this web site.

  3. Male or female deputy?

  4. California, the Sanctuary State! It’s only going to get worse!

  5. This is what happens when you make marijuana legal…

  6. Good the doggie got a bite !!

  7. Hooray for the canine unit. Got the “bad” guy. Praying for the wounded sheriff to make a full recovery.

  8. God Bless our SCV officers , (and all CA Police officers trying to protect us when our so-called SANCTUARY state GOVERNOR AND MAYOR GARCETTI WILL NOT HELP the POLICE/SHERIFFS DEPT. or US!!!) Who are THESE ELECTED OFFICIALS trying to protect? What are they personally gaining by putting us into dangerous situations every day when we walk out the door. They protect the criminals!!! Certainly not us, the hard working, honest people living under our CA laws. Let us GET RID OF THESE OFFICIALS. VOTE THEM OUT IN THE NEXT ELECTION! Let us clean up these criminals now before we loose our city to thugs and gangsters. This is a beautiful valley we share with each other. Protest before it is too late. Save our children!!! Sending a thank you and saying prayers for each of you who put your life on the line each day. God keep you SAFE.

    • Talk about painting with a broad brush! Not everyone who needs sanctuary is a criminal. It would just as easily have been a white guy, if that’s what you are insinuating!

  9. Thank goodness they got the guy AND that the deputy will be okay. I drove by right after it happened. Surreal scene. Great job SCV Sheriffs for getting the guy so quickly without any more injuries to anyone!

  10. My husband and I were delivering meals for the SCV Senior Center in the area and saw the helicopters overhead (five at one time!). When we tried to deliver to the seniors in the Flying Tiger apartments several miles from the stabbing, we found the doors locked and the offices closed. Spooky! We finally contacted a resident to let us in, or the dozen-or-so seniors in the apartment buildings who rely on us for a hot meal would have gone hungry that day!
