Ex-Girlfriend Arrested After Canyon Country Stabbing

Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies arrested a woman suspected of stabbing her ex-boyfriend in the head, according to officials.

Emergency medical personnel were called to the 27500 block of Marta Lane in Canyon Country regarding possible stab wound at 6:36 p.m., according to Fire Department officials.

The man reportedly identified the suspect to officials before being transported for medical treatment.

The victim, a 21-year-old man, walked up to medical personnel who arrived at the residence, according to officials. He was then transported to a local hospital with a stab wound to the head. His injury was listed as critical.

Deputies said the suspect, a woman, has not yet been booked. The scene is being actively investigated.
