Damien Sisley, 34, of Palmdale, was found Sunday afternoon in his car down an embankment, off Mt. Emma Road and Angeles Forest Highway, said Sgt. B. Robinson of the Palmdale California Highway Patrol Station. Officials notified the family of Sisley.
“The family was out trying to find him and they found him,” Robinson said.
Sisley had been reported missing Oct. 18 at 3 a.m., but officials said his body looked to have been deceased since Oct. 12, Robinson said.
Lt. Fred Corral of the Los Angeles County Department of Coroner said the body was brought in early Monday morning and investigators with the Coroner’s Office have not conducted their investigation or identification, yet.
No more information is available at this time and the investigation remains ongoing.
