The woman allegedly committed several hit-and-runs Tuesday night south of Santa Clarita, but the pursuit was terminated after officers lost her, said Officer Eric Preissman with the Newhall California Highway Patrol office.
However, Wednesday morning, he said, LAPD officers picked up the trail, sighting the suspect on surface streets along the 210. When she got on the freeway to escape, CHP units were called in to take over the chase.
The woman travelled westbound on the 210 and southbound on the 5 freeway until Roxford St.
There, Priessman said, she got back on the freeway, this time headed north.

CHP officers pursued the woman as she got off the 5 freeway at McBean Parkway shortly after 11 a.m.
“Near Valencia (Boulevard), she was taken into custody,” Priessman said, “after her vehicle was blockaded by a patrol vehicle.”
The woman was arrested without further complications, he added.

John…don’t you know when they don’t have all the info, its a S.W.A.G. report. LOL
Sorry So Cal guy – what’s a S.W.A.G report? I also saw channel 7’s report and their helicopter was tracking the car the whole time. And John is right. Police called off the pursuit. I didn’t understand why because they were following her as was the channel 7 copter. But the news people said they probably knew where she lived. Guess they were right.
Shar, S.W.A.G. stands for “Scientific Wild Ass Guess”.
