Detectives Report Dead Body In Valencia As Suicide

Homicide detectives responded to a reported suicide, after a dead body was found on the 24700 block of  Riverchase Drive in Valencia, officials said.

The victim was reportedly found dead at the scene, outside of the apartment comlex at 5:20 p.m.

Homicide officials reported the death was a suicide.

Recent statistics indicate the North Los Angeles County region has the highest rate of calls for attempted and completed suicides in Los Angeles County, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department data.

  1. What’s really sad is that as is typical of the lame reporting in Los Angeles County, there are no details about who this was or anything else. It’s annoying and downright disgraceful reporting. What does anyone care about an article that says someone was found dead somewhere- when they can’t say ego or allow the public to participate in the process of finding the truth.
