During the operation, detectives arrested 36 adults and rescued two female juveniles, ages 16 and 17, who they identified as commercially sexually exploited children, according to Sheriff’s officials.

One of the girls was released to the care of the Department of Children and Family Services and the other to the Probation Department, as she had an arrest warrant from San Bernardino County.

Rajene Robinson, a 20-year-old woman from Santa Clarita, was arrested on suspicion of pandering after she allegedly attempted to recruit an undercover Sheriff’s deputy to work for her as a commercial sex worker.

A 23-year-old man from Riverside, who was with Robinson at the time, was arrested for allegedly carrying a loaded firearm in a vehicle and supervising a prostitute.

Both were booked at the Century Regional Detention Center.

In addition, 12 adult women were arrested on suspicion of loitering for the purposes of prostitution and two women were arrested for solicitation of prostitution after they allegedly solicited sex for money from undercover detectives.

Each of them were offered victim-centered services from Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion Services (LEADS).

Seven of the women were identified as victims of human trafficking and accepted ongoing services, according to officials.

The remaining suspects were booked at the Century Regional Detention Facility.

Twenty of those arrested were men who allegedly solicited undercover Sheriff’s deputies for various sex acts. Those men were also transported and booked at the Century Regional Detention Facility.

About Louie Diaz

Louie was born and raised in Santa Clarita. At the age of two Louie lost his vision due to a brain tumor. However, Louie doesn't let blindness stop him from doing what ever it is he wants to accomplish. Growing up some of his favorite hobbies were wood working, fishing and riding bikes. Louie graduated from College of the Canyon in December of 2017, with a Broadcast Journalism degree. Growing up Louie has always wanted to be a fire fighter or a police officer, but because of his blindness Louie knew that wouldn't work. Louie has always loved listening to police and fire radio traffic, using a scanner, and he figured if he was going to listen to the scanner so much, he should do something with it.
