Macy is currently in the custody of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department being held in lieu of a $1.2 million bail, according to a Sheriff’s Department news release.
The investigation began August 5 when detectives from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Special Victims Bureau looked into an allegation of child molestation involving a young female child and a church employee.
A second victim of child molestation was identified over the course of the investigation, Sheriff’s Department officials said.
Both victims knew the suspect from his employment at Grace Chapel Church and the acts of molestation allegedly occurred while the children were at the chapel for Sunday church services, according to the news release.
Macy was also employed as a teacher at St. Mary’s School in Palmdale.
Sheriff’s Station officials encourage anyone with information about this incident to contact the Special Victims Bureau at 877-710-5273.
