The initial confrontation between 22-year-old Jonathan Cabrera and a food delivery driver took place near Valle del Oro in Newhall, said Shirley Miller, a representative for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
“The suspect followed the victim in his vehicle,” Miller said. “When the victim arrived to his destination, the suspect allegedly approached him with a metal wrench and attempted to hit him with it.”
Deputies arrested Cabrera just after 2 p.m. on assault with a deadly weapon charges.
Bail was set at $30,000, and Cabrera was released from custody on bond shortly before midnight Sunday. Sheriff’s arrest records indicate this was the third time he has been arrested by Santa Clarita deputies.
Cabrera will return to court July 6 at the San Fernando Superior Courthouse.

Where are the details? Who, what, when and how? Where are the basic of reporting? Did anyone actual ask questions of the victim or the Sheriff Department or just print a press release????
Who, what and when were cleverly concealed within the article.
The how is how did you miss them?
The suspect certainly had sufficient time to think this through and chose
to attack anyway; clearly a premeditated act of attempted murder.
And this being his third arrest does nothing to help his case.
Put him away from us.
He should be in military school like that Finklestein kid. Or therapy.
Smoke thick here in Saugus. Where is the fire? Can’t find it anywhere.
