Man Wanted For Murder Arrested In Santa Clarita

A man wanted for murder was arrested by Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies during a traffic stop Monday morning, according to officials.

Hien Le, 35, was arrested at 11:30 a.m. after deputies searched his name and discovered that he had a warrant out for his arrest.

“There was a warrant,” said Sgt. Sam Soehnel. “He was arrested (at the scene).”

The warrant, however, was not for a murder in Santa Clarita.

“It was an LAPD case,” said Soehnel.

Le is currently being held in lieu of $2,090,000 bail, according to arrest records.

No court date was set as of Tuesday morning.
